Happy New Month! I know… it’s a little unconventional, but there’s no law that says we HAVE to reserve our reflections and resolutions for the annual end-of-year rituals. Why not do this every month? Take a look at those New Year resolutions, reflect on the past month, assess your progress, make some adjustments where necessary, set some new targets and/or resolutions for this month and keep moving. Some people even break those down into weeks and days. I don’t know why this has never ocurred to me before, but I chalk it up to that age-old adage, “because that’s the way we’ve always done it.” I’m going to try this Happy New Month thing, so check in with me next month and keep me accountable. Besides, what’s wrong with having another reason to celebrate living?!
