Dealing With Being Unemployed Part 3
So after some months of being out of work you begin to question your worth or your worth to a company. As I fill out on-line applications for a myriad of jobs I’m still struck by the lack of response by most companies? Is this the new standard for doing business?
I remember years ago when looking for work after applying in-person or even on-line you would almost always get some kind of response, even a rejection letter would be welcomed, but to not hear anything is really frustrating. It makes you question your value, your time, your craft whatever that might be.
I’m going to have to change my game plan somehow? I know I want to change my resume to make it more creative somehow, and maybe go back to the “old school” way and actually go to potential employers and hand them my info rather than just send this stuff into cyberspace!
