We wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving, a wonderful time for families to gather around the turkey dinner, enjoy each others company and giving thanks for all the good things in life… or is it? If your family is like mine it is usually not as picturesque as a Norman Rockwell painting! There are usually stresses between spouses & mother-in-laws, who’s the better cook, why did uncle so-in-so bring that darn dog, Aunt June is hitting the liquor mighty early this year, why didn’t you come to our house and so on and so forth.
Amidst the smells, the flavors there always seems to be some sort of stress, I’m stressed and it’s only Tuesday! As the day approaches I’m going to try to count my blessings, be thankful for all that God has given me and not stress out, life is too short! I pray you can do the same this year.
